December Cosmo.

I must say December's cosmo is pretty interesting this month! With Britney Spears on the cover with Headings like: Exactly how to give a good... 5 signs he's about to cheat, The party hair everyone wants etc.

As I was going through the magazine. I came across: 7 Secret signs he'll be a god in bed. LOLS The list is as follows:

1. He knows his way around a guitar.

2. He's not a salad dodger

3. He's got a big salary

4. He exercises regularly.

5. Anyone seen Russel Brand?

6 It's in his texting...

7. He's a nice bloke!

Russel Brand? Really?? Lucky for Katy Perry now that she's marry to him I guess.. hehe so what do you think? FACT OR FICTION??? :P I'm leaning towards fact.

Rant Rant Rant.

Man this week has been intense! I've been working from Wednesday through to Sunday, and boy I must admit i rather be in uni full time then work. I don't get how people do it. I can't stand having customers come in and complain about something. I swear vodafone has the most complaints compared to all the other jobs i've been at. Thank goodness today was my last day i don't think i could've lasted another month there. I think the only thing I'll miss is the booth that sells nuts. lmao yes i love nuts nom nom nom. Cashew nuts in particular. OMG seriously it smells so good everyone asks what it is! It's so YUM i think its cause its coated with sugar. But i like to believe that nuts are healthy for you. So DON'T Kill my buzz.

Anyway Just the other day I went to watch Due date and I have got to say it is hilarious! Honestly I don't think I've ever laughed so hard watching any other movie. I enjoyed it more than i enjoyed Harry Potter 7. I think I stopped enjoying Harry Potter after the one where Rob Patterson died. All sequels after that I just had to watch because it was a waste not to. Harry Potter's beginning to become R16 material. That semi sex scene was NOT for children's eyes to see! Out of all things cut out from the book to movie, that scence HAD to be in it. Even if it did they could've been kissing with clothes on atleast! I was horrified. I'll admit I cringed.

Just the other day, I got frustrated with a mate of mine. He's a rich kid and so the things he says are really typical rich. Looks down on poor people, judges EVERYONE but themselves. Doesn't know the meaning of empathy or sympathy. From a strangers point of view: A REAL JERK. Everyone asks me why I hang out with him if he irritates me, I guess it's because I can see a good side of him at times. Not a lot, but at times. He can be a nice person, just doesnt know how to. And no matter how many times you tell him what he says is rude, he continues to do it. It's like teaching an old dog new tricks. Men just can't comprehend anything but their own thinking. They think woman whinge? I think men whinge. They whinge about stupid things like how their legs are sore from running or their back hurts. STOP BEING SUCH A GIRL. I swear Men these days don't even know the word HARDWORK. Everything's made simple for them. All things that use to be done manually are now new technology that does it automatically without even lifting a finger. TOUGHEN UP BOYS. =)

Bought a new guitar the other day! so far, i've only learnt how to tune it. =S Tried to play a song and the chords just don't come out right. Learning the guitar is NOT as easy as it looks. lols I think piano is way easier. I miss my piano. I miss being able to go into my living room and start playing nonsense. A really good example of 'You don't know what you've got till it's gone". When I had it, it would just be sitting in my living room untouched. I really shouldn't have let mum sell it. Miss you Piano <3 xx

Summer Holidays.

MAN time really does fly by! Almost end of the year of 2010, and as years go by i learn to be more appreciative about the things I have. JOKES. naw but I do appreciate a lot of things like my friends that have stuck by me, through thick and thin. I appreciate the new friends i've made and how they've changed my life. =) I've learnt to not dwell on people who put you down, cuz there are always other people who are going to treat you better. Man this post should really be at the end of the year so I can look back at the year and ramble on about all the things I've done. HAHA neways! I am DONE. Holidays here i come =) However, everyone else is still in exams! So, technically i'm not having that much fun considering everyone's busy. lol I'm not working as much till the end of this month and when everyone's done next month i'll be like a full timer at work, which SUCKS.Oh and i hate my job. It sucks. FULL STOP. I think we need to get paid more. especially for a company like Vodafone.

I had a lady come in the other day and asked for a 20 dollar recharge card. And I must've given out a bad vibe cuz then she was like: it's okay. I'll buy it somewhere else, where there's better customer service. I was thinkin: OK LADY! Number 1: I'm by myself for 2 hours and i have to close by myself. Number 2: You're asking me to fix a phone in which I don't know how to, You don't have a receipt, so you obviously didn't buy it from vodafone, so i can't get it sent away for you. Number 3: YOu're recharge card is only going to get me like 10c commission so please, be my guest. I couldn't care less if you get it somewhere else. It's not like you're buying a phone or going on a plan. :S Some people expect so much out of me. Just to let everybody know now! Just cause we work at vodafone it doesn't mean we're phone experts. It means we need a job to survive. That's like saying someone who works at Glassons is an expert at sowing. And people who work at Mc Donalds knows how to make their burgers from scratch! If you have the same phone as me, then MAYBE i can help you out.

However I need to keep my job BECAUSE I spend too much money. LMAO im sure i've already made a blog that says im a shopaholic. lol so we don't need to go back there. Anyways, I guess i'll be spending a bit more time blogging while my "FRIENDS" are still in Exams. Something for you to read on you're breaks ae? =) Anyways 11:30pm i'm out =) hehe have a good night xx

Week 2 of holidays.

Holidays so far, I SWEAR It's getting so boring, Two weeks in and preetika finally managed to think about something to do! Laser Strike and Spookers! Totally can't wait, but in the meantime I'm sitting at home on youtube all day/night watching Wanda Sykes comedy shows. She is HILARIOUS! (IF you havent watched it Youtube: Wanda Sykes Sick and Tired, Wanda Sykes Ima be me) you will laugh your head off! my parents have been complaining about the laughing noise that come out of my room especially when andy and I was watching it in my room. My mum even came in to see what was so funny! wanda sykes was saying how shes getting so old that when she's at the mall talking to her friend on the phone she sometimes goes through her bag frantically and checks all her pockets because she thinks she's lost her phone but when infact she's talking on it! OKay now I really don't think that's got anything to do with getting old!! Cause i've done it a few times!! does anyone else do it to? or maybe its just me? lols OH and another thing to youtube: Universal Photo booth. LMAO that's so funny too. As you can see, that is how bored I am getting.

However it is great to finally have Andy and Anna back in NZ! (Andy's in Dunedin, so really it's still in nz just not in the right part of nz!) We ended up having a catch up this week where we went to pool had dinner n Karaoke! Ok so before I left for the whole gathering I thought hey lets go get my hair done by the ppl that i brought my straightener off cause aparently they will do your hair for free 10 times if u buy their product! Now assuming the lady was a professional hairdresser i asked for curls that were sorta like waves rather then Curls. Instead of making me look like Kim Kardashian I turned out looking like a poodle. Not wanting to be rude I left the mall looking like that till i got to the exit and started to brush my hair over and over again to make it less curly! but then i remembered the lady saying "im going to put hairspray into your hair before curling it so the curls will stay in your hair for longer! How about you dont? ahh so I left to town and got to the Pool place which was on top of queen street. Further up from Real groovy. Now wanting to go to get my hair back to normal i decided to go to Linda's apartment at the Vault. Walking down the steep steep road at the back of vault was a BAD idea especially in my high heel boots it was such a mission that by half way I knew if i kept going I would tumble down! guys who walked past me were like be careful! so i decided to take my boots off and walk down in bare feet! ah not so good of an idea either cuz the ground was wet. Got to linda's swapped shoes with her and went to dinner! (Oh i totally forgot to mention that I was sorta broke at this time)

Now i expected dinner to be cheap cuz i did metion that i didn't have the money to blow on food. but i guess my friends didn't really take that into consideration considering we went to a fancy japanese place which cost me 20 bux for jus teryaki chicken. However i think the food was good and after our dinner we went to Karaoke which was major fun because it was just great to act like a dick infront of them without people judging you! None of the boys wanted to sing so it was just 3 girls singing their hearts out, by the time i left my voice was semi gone! Note to Linda: If you heard me sing a whole new world this time you would've totally taken ur statement back about how i was good at singing. lolol

Trying to have as much time with my friends from outta auckland but they're just so busy with their boyfriends because they dont get to see them until uni holidays either. So of the 3 weeks or so that they are here i only get to see them 4-5 times? Anna started to tell me about how one of her friends from highschool is really depressed cause every girl we've known in highschool all have boyfriends and the girls you never expected to get a boyfriend has one and she was the only one left without one? Well hello how about me?? Thanks Anna you just got me depressed! lolol I was like ARE YOU SERIOUS??? SHE HAS A BF!! WHATTTT!! WOW.. lols I've been single for 3 years almost! Its beginning to make me think what's wrong with me? lols and another thing i've noticed while working at colorado: Baby Boomers men are very family orientated. MOST anyway. you know what our generation men are more focused on? PS2, Xbox, PSP, Nitendo Wii etc. All the gaming devices you can think of. When we get married our husbands will be at work, then come home, eat, then play games. If you think: my boyfriend will grow out of them once he grows older. LIES! They never get too old for them! maybe when they're 80 and have arthritis but i can tell you now gurl it wont happen anytime soon! You'd be kidding yourself! Face it, boys will be boys. They prefer a good night at home playing video games rather then going shopping with the kids :)

Week 1 of holidays =D

Holidays, Holidays, Holidays, I think i've realised that the reason why these holidays are so boring because the fact that it's WINTER. Face it, in NZ there is not a lot of places to go. The fact that it's winter means we can't go to beaches, parks and basically anything which involves being outside. So if you eliminate those choices what do you really have left? Home or SHOPPING. Yes this is when I spend most of my time in malls, and I swear it's not doing my Wallet any good.

I go from mall to mall and just wen i thought i was doing SO well not spending, i went to St lukes and there was a hair straightening booth sitting where San Michelle's use to be, and the guy asked me to stop and showed me the straightener! He was telling me how it was a really good product just like a GHD but cheaper! He did parts of my hair and i must say, it did come out amazing! He was such a good salesmen, I mean seriously, he did sound very convincing! "its normally 289, but we're selling it at 250" I sat there with huge hesitations but I think he could tell that I was really keen on getting it so he whispered "Ok, I wont say it too loudly BUT i will give it to you for 230" Ah by then I was sold. LMAO It didn't help that he was quite good looking! Not New Zealand European obviously, cuz really there aren't a lot of good looking white KIWIS, lols but he must've been from somewhere in Europe. Yes now I own a very good straightener! =D My baby along with my Overland Boots.

Went clubbing on saturday and managed to get into Margi's for free when there was an entry charge. I was over the moon cuz i only had 20 dollars to spend, but somehow that money ended up gone by the end of the night i can't recall what i spent it on but no i wasn't drunk because I was sober driver. I don't know if its cause i'm getting old but Clubbing isn't as fun as it use to be. I remember how it use to be such a big hype when we turned 18, we use to LOVe going, now it's just alright. I was expecting to be going home REALLY early, but somehow I managed to stay out till almost 5am. Thanks to my two accomplice Sam.M and Preetika, I just didn't want to go home cuz it was soo fun! I appreciate People who can hold good conversations and not get bored. Preetika thinks its cause I'm a very people sorta person. But I can't stand being around people who answer with 1 word answers.
"How are you?"
"Good, What abt u?"
"I'm good"
*SILENCE*
"How's uni?"
"Gay"
"Yea..."
*SILENCE*
*SILENCE*
*SILENCE*

I can't stand silent people. lols Oh and another thing i've realised!! Being a girl isn't necessarily a bad thing, we do get a lot of things for free! Thank you boys. =D

Dine with Pieere Gordon

Dinner at Dine in Grand Hotel Sky City, First of all I would like to say: WHAT A TOTAL RIP OFF. Ok I'm normally not the sorta person who is really stinge with their money, but because I'm sorta broke at the moment I thought $50 dollars for a side and a main was totally not worth it, especially when the food wasn't exactly the best tasting food in the world. I've tasted better. It was basically food that you use for food fights. Everything was so overpriced that I had to ask if my sour cream costed money cause it didn't come with my meal I asked for it cause the potato tasted really bland. Luckily it didn't because I was totally prepared to give back the big saucer back with two swipes of sour cream taken off it. JOKES. Nah I would've just consumed the whole lot if it did cost me, even if i didn't have potatoes to dip it with!

Being an asian, and going to asian restaurants, I was expecting food to come out instantly, but no, they took hours to bring our things out, we spent about 2 hours there. I had to wait an hour for my food. Honestly, talk about lack of preparation, I don't know why they take hours to make your food at european restaurants. I went there hungry, prepared to get my food as soon as i got there, instead i sat there bored out of my brains and starving waiting. We got a dish complimentary by the chief, and to be honest it was one slice of beef the size of a coin before my meal. It wasn't fully cooked with some kinda sauce to go with it? It was food you feed a model. It makes me think that maybe they make their meals small proportion and overpriced for famous people. Where they need to look out for the figure and vomit it out when they get home that way it comes out in smaller chunks? NOTE TO MANAGER: NZ IS ONE OF THE TOP FEW COUNTRIES THAT DEAL WITH OBESITY. FEED US MORE!

And another thing! I'm very picky with my food, I don't eat a lot of things. Which was another problem when i got there cause the menu had things where I didn't like with my food like figs and brussle sprouts. I sat there playing with it while my cousin amy just turned to her boyfriend and gave him the whole chunk. Amazed that he actually took what she didn't want and sat their quietly. I asked if he was a picky eater, and he was like nope i eat anything! Amazed I thought to myself: Man i need a bf like that! but since i didn't I asked my other cousin if she wanted it, surprisingly enough she said no, so it just at on my plate, as the waiter took my dish he asked in concern if i enjoyed my meal, obviously not wanting to say No, I smiled and said "it was lovely."

As we were leaving, our bill was discounted with 10% because a friend worked there, which meant we had to figure out how much our meals cost cause of the 10% off, Some figured it out way faster then others, but basically 7 people paying took abt 15 minutes. The cashier specifically said we couldn't pay for our own meals cause of the 10%, but knowing us asians we still managed to find a way to pay our own by saying: okay I'm paying this much.. and he's paying this much... lolol which you could TELL he wasn't too happy about it. I tried to crack a joke to brighten his day and he just fully ignored it. I was thinking: "stink you aren't getting a tip then" Not that i was planning on giving one anyway. Basically I came out of the restaurant with a massive dent in my wallet. but it's okay.. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JANET.
